THE QUIREBOYS have posted the following message on their official web site:

"The band are currently in Lost Boys studios in Bedfordshire, U.K. recording with co-producer Nick Mailing. This album sees the band returning to their roots with a more varied selection of styles than 'Well Oiled'. The as-yet-untitled album will be finished by the end of May with a late summer release. Songs recorded so far include 'Love This Dirty Town', 'One More For The Road', 'Mona Lisa Smiled', 'Take A Look At Yourself', '(She's Got The) Dirt On Me', 'Blackwater', 'Late Nite Saturday Call', 'Fear Within The Lie', plus more to be recorded. Watch for an upcoming video clip.

"Spike [vocals], Griff [Guy Griffin, guitar] and Paul [Guerin, guitar] will be appearing on the celebrity panel of 'Harvey Live' which will air after 'Harvey Goldsmith Presents' on E4 on the 27th March. It will also air on a later date on Channel 4."

THE QUIREBOYS' first official DVD was released on February 5. Entitled "Live at the Mean Fiddler, London: One More for the Road", the disc features footage from the group's performance at The Mean Fiddler in London, England.

THE QUIREBOYS will take part in this year's Siljarock cruise, which is set to depart Stockholm, Sweden for Helsinki, Finland on April 29. The 40-hour Baltic cruise will also feature former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno backed by the Swedish band AK 47S.
